ZMK

ZMK, is a highly sought-after glass artist from South Florida. Renowned for pushing boundaries, Zac continuously redefines the art of glass sculpture through his masterful use of light, intricate layering, and exceptional skills in etching and carving. His artistry is driven by a passion for nature and a commitment to elevated consciousness, reflected in recurring themes such as the lessons of the past, the plight of bees, the concept of death, and the pursuit of higher thinking.

“My work is a by-product of my rebellious yet sensitive personality. It is born out of the need to break through the limits imposed on us by external forces, in both abstract and physical form. Working with glass presents a real challenge while offering an immediate reward when tamed. By combining various glass-working and glazing techniques, I push beyond the constraints of this unforgiving medium to showcase its best qualities. Each piece I create deepens my connection to glass and invites the audience to engage with it on a deeper level. In my work, glass symbolizes strength of character and the natural world, reminding us of our true place within it. Its fragility mirrors our own.” – ZMK
